Dove Intensive Repair Deep Repair Treatment Mask

Dove Intensive Repair Deep Repair Mask - R52.99

I think our hair definitely defines us and if your hair looks dry and dull; you're not going to give off a very good first impression. Although I'm not saying don't embrace messy hair if messy hair is your thing but at least have healthy looking messy hair.
That being said a good hair care routine is a must and a treatment mask is whats going to make a lot of difference. A hair mask should be applied at least twice a week or once if your mask is strong. A hair mask is important as it zeroes in on hair damage like split ends and dryness. Some masks take up to 30 minutes to work and then some are mild enough to use like a regular deep conditioner.

Enter Dove's Intensive Repair Deep Repair Mask which works in three ways. Its restores the hairs protein structure which boosts resistance, the micro moisture serum repairs edges of the hair cuticle like split ends and lastly it protects the hair against future damage.

The packaging is classy and quite sturdy although the tub could be a bit of an irritation in the shower as water could get into it so maybe a squeeze bottle would work better in that instance. The smell is devine as all Dove products are, its so fresh, not over powering at all and it lingers in your hair all the time. The mask is very thick and a coin sized amount gets you a long way from the middle of your hair to the ends. You can feel how soft and smooth your hair is even when applying the mask and its such a breeze to comb your hair afterwards as there are no tangles, just soft, smooth and manageable hair. I pair this with L'oreal Elvive Nutri Gloss Illuminating Shampoo and Conditioner and the results are amazing. My hair is soft AND shiny - major bonus. My ends are usually so dry and with this mask it seals the cuticle to make it softer. So pleased with this hair mask and its been added on the repurchase list!
